Dr. Aurore Laprais

Dr. Aurore Laprais received her degree in veterinary medicine from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Liège, Belgium in 2011. Following her graduation, she completed a small animal internship at CHV Pommery, a private practice specialty hospital in Reims, France. She then went on to complete an advanced veterinary dermatology training program at the Nantes and Lyon National Veterinary schools in France (Oniris and VetAgroSup) and obtained her Certificate of Superior Studies (CES) in Veterinary Dermatology in 2013. Dr. Laprais then moved to her hometown to work as a general practice veterinarian at Vetodome in Mozac, France before taking the leap to the USA to complete her 3-year Residency program in Veterinary Dermatology at North Carolina State University in Raleigh. She received her board certification from the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (Dipl.ACVD) in 2018. Dr. Laprais has been working at OAESH since 2018 and has felt very welcomed with proper initiation to Beavertails, poutine, and winter sports!
Her main interests include auto-immune disorders, allergy management and infectious diseases. She is passionate about providing customized diagnostic procedures and treatment options for her patients while meeting the owner’s goals and expectations. Dermatology is a specialty with many chronic diseases, and she is convinced that working as a team with the owner is key to offering her patients the best possible level of care and comfort.
In her spare time, Aurore enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.
